The goal of our Fellowship Programme is to prepare our fellows for a career in hand surgery. We provide a comprehensive exposure to hand surgery as part of the National Hand Surgery Residency Training Programme. Our hospital is a University Hospital and a Level I trauma centre. Fellows receive individual teaching and supervision in the operating room and outpatient clinics and can progressively develop independent responsibility for patient care and supervision of residents. The fellows will rotate through the teams. All teams include a combination of routine patients and complex reconstructive patients. This rotation is intended to maximise the fellow’s exposure to a wide variety of patients, diagnoses, and treatment philosophies. Fellows can expect to do between five and seven stay-in on-calls per month and consultants will be available at all times for supervision and mentoring. Weekly teaching conferences, journal club, and anatomical dissections of the upper extremity provide a strong academic environment. The programme provides fellows with the opportunity to experience clinical research and to present that research either at national or international meetings.

2. A one-page document that answers the following questions:
- Why did you decide to do hand surgery?
- Why did you select Singapore?
- What are your plans after the fellowship?
